Civil Professional Engineer - Aviation (OKC)

Parkhill is seeking to hire a Professional Civil Engineer with a specialization in Aviation to join our growing team. This opportunity will be in our Oklahoma City office. Our Civil Engineer has the opportunity to support and enhance our range of expertise in Aviation by collaborating with a great civil engineering team. This is a full-time, exempt position paid on a salary basis.

Your Contribution

  • Collaborate with team members to develop proposals, scopes, and fees.
  • Manage the demands of planning and modeling, regulatory compliance, and permitting.
  • Train/mentor staff on the use of Civil 3D.
  • Review project details to proactively manage risk.
  • Evaluate observations and design systems that will withstand the elements on the installation site.
  • Lead design teams in the preparation of plans, specifications, and other related bid/construction documents.
  • Develop relationships with clients, staff, municipal authorities, vendors, and contractors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • Professional engineer registration (PE) in OK.
  • Experience with software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a must.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering practices, principles and keep up with the ever-changing industry trends.
  • Detailed understanding of project engineering methods with the ability to lead project design start to finish, taking into account time, cost and resources.
  • An effective communicator with all levels of employees.
  • Possess strategic and effective delegation skills.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and workplace safety regulations.
  • Must be able to work in a collaborative environment with non-Engineer decision makers and be able to communicate plans
