Learning and Development Admin (Frisco, TX)

The Learning and Development Admin supports firmwide learning initiatives by executing administrative tasks for the Learning and Development team. Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: LMS administration, coordination for learning events, and aiding internal communications for Parkhill’s operations, architecture, and civil engineering sectors. This role reports to the Learning and Development Manager, partners with the Learning and Development team, and collaborates with the People and Culture team to achieve operational objectives.

Role Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support for learning and development initiatives.

  • Works independently and with the team to complete tasks and meet goals.
  • Has exceptional attention to detail, organization, and active listening skills.
  • Has strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Is deadline-driven with a sense of urgency.
  • Takes direction and provides timely feedback on progress of tasks.
  • Acts as point of contact for employees on LMS, content provider, and system related questions.
  • Creates quarterly reports and analysis across learning and development functions.
  • Navigates and adapts to outside online platforms to maintain information and learner access.
  • Researches and resolves data input discrepancies or missing data when requested; elevates unresolved issues to supervisor.

Administrative Support

Competencies include communication, time management, relationship building, teamwork, project management, attention to detail, professionalism, and organization.

Systems

LMS, intranet application, Microsoft products, project management systems, online whiteboards.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in the learning and development or human resources environment; experience with LMS and outside systems preferred.
