Your Contribution

• Process and review reports necessary for the monthly billing cycle. 

• Verify project setups align the terms of the contract. 

• Produce monthly invoices to clients. 

• Prepare government forms for invoices and add required back up as needed. 

• Prepare reports and analyze and interpret financial information for projects. 

• Review and update revenue on all assigned projects each month.

• Prepare and input monthly journal entries as required.

• Maintain and update the project and billing modules of the accounting system (Deltek) as needed. 

• Participate in the monthly review of corporate financial statements. 

• Work daily with project managers to ensure accurate revenue and client invoices each month. 

• Interact with external clients regarding billing issues. 

• Manage daily, weekly, monthly priorities as needed while meeting billing/revenue deadlines each month.

• Other duties may be assigned.


Your qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school; or 
  • 5 years related experience and/or training; or 
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as billing contracts, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Deltek Vision and/or Vantagepoint experience preferred.
  • A&E experience and knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, consultants, and employees. 
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and other relevant basic business mathematics. 
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. 
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Open and able to learn new processes quickly in a large corporate environment.
  • Ability to train in person at a Parkhill office AND with use of online (Webex) meetings.
  • Ability to work overtime (as needed) to meet our Accounting deadlines.
